The report also says that after the installation of an automatic telephone exchange with a capacity of 384 numbers in Gilanchay village in Ordubad region, Dasta and Vanand villages were connected to this automatic telephone exchange via fiber-optic cable.
“Bist, Alahi, Nasirvaz and Khurs villages were also provided with modern telephone and communication services after fiber optic cable had been laid through these villages. Apart from that, a second automatic exchange was installed and put into operation in Babek settlement. Also, automatic telephone stations in Garachuq village in Hakhchivan city, Oglanqala village in Sharur region, Tivi village in Ordubad region, Yurdchu village in Kangarli region were moved to new buildings.”
