‘Certificate of employment’ e-service used 247 thousand times

During January 2016, citizens used the “Certificate of employment” electronic service 33 percent more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.  Statistical data show that this electronic service provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population is used most frequently by citizens of the country.  

After passing authentication and selecting the “Certificate of employment” e-service on the E-government portal, the citizen is able to submit electronically the certificate of employment to the relevant organization. The citizen can also print out the document and present it to the relevant organization in paper form.  
The Ministry says that citizens no longer need to apply to any officials to get this document from places of their employment. If necessary, the organization can check the validity of the certificate of employment using a special service on the portal.  

A certificate of employment holds information about the employer, including his contact numbers. It also contains personal information about the employee, including the date of signing the employment contract, period of the contract, validity period of the certificate, etc.   
    
The “Certificate of employment” electronic service plays an important role in the process of replacing paper certificates with electronic certificates.  To date, the e-service has been used a total of 247 thousand times since it was launched in December 2014.
