The 3rd place was given to the "BSU-4" team of Baku State University, "Suicide Squad" team of Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry and the "AzTU1" team of Azerbaijan Technical University, which got the same number of scores. And the 4th place was given to the "NAA3" team of National Aviation Academy and the "ADAU1" team of ADA University.
In order to encourage the participation of teams from the regions of the country in the competition, the jury decided to award the "Kapaz" team of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, which, in spite of showing very good results, failed to reach the final. The winners of the competition will receive valuable gifts from HP, Azerfon and Caspian Telecom companies and honorary diplomas and certificates from the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies.
It should be noted that a total of 55 teams from 22 educational institutions took part in the first stage of the competition, which was held on 16 April 2016 at Qafqaz University. 13 teams from 13 higher education institutions, which showed the best results, were admitted to the final stage of the competition.
Winners of Republic Olympiad in Informatics identified
The winners of the final stage of the Republic Olympiad in Informatics, which was held among university students and was dedicated to May 17 - World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, have been identified.
