Robi Guide – is a new kind of electronic guide which can provide tourists and citizens with detailed audio and text information on restaurants, entertainment centres, architectural monuments, museums and other sightseeing attractions.
Thus, tourists coming to the country no longer have to spend their money on guide services. All they need is to download the application in their mobile phones, and to choose a route.
Robbie Guide combines the new trends existing in the domestic and global tourism markets. At the initial stage, the project will cover Baku, and then - the whole Azerbaijan.
The application will provide tourists with extensive audio and text information on entertainment centres, architectural monuments, museums and other sightseeing attractions in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages.
Besides that, Robi Guide will provide its users with detailed information about nearby recreation centres, hotels, offices, restaurants, as well as the services they provide to clients, including prices, menus, etc.
Presently, the application (http: //robiguide.com) can be used only by the holders of Android devices. In future, Robi Guide will be made compatible with iOS and Windows Phone devices. It will also be incorporated into Microsoft, Google Map, and e-gov API systems.
In future, the project, headed by Namat Mammadzada, is expected to be realized in foreign countries as well. Talks are currently underway with Turkey, Georgia, and Kazakhstan in this regard.
