The Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan has shown invaluable support for Bakutel and has played a key role in establishing and developing the exhibition. The support from international industry institutions such as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Regional Communications Commonwealth (RCC) and accreditation from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) attests to Bakutel’s international recognition. The organisers of the event are Iteca Caspian and Caspian Event Organisers.
National stands from Azerbaijan, Austria, Belarus, Croatia, France, Iran, Israel, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, USA and other countries will be presented at Bakutel 2016. 40% of exhibition participants are expected to be regular exhibitors. Among the exhibitors will be leading ICT companies, mobile operators, communications operators, internet providers, system integrators, and distributors of well-known brands. The exhibition will feature national stands from a number of countries, which will participate in the event with the active support of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The pavilion of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies itself will present new projects and innovative solutions implemented in the fields of post, communications and e-government.
Presentations of such projects as "Audio library for visually impaired", "Digitalization of museums" and "Google Art Project" will be made at the event. Start-up projects are also expected to take an active part in the exhibition.
At the same time, a number of conferences and forums will be held on the side-lines of the exhibition.
In addition to business meetings and talks, all the visitors and participants of the event will be able to take part in competitions, quizzes and other entertainment activities.

Bakutel 2016, the 22nd Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference on Telecommunications and Information Technologies will take place from 29 November – 2 December 2016 in Baku. Every year for over 20 years, Bakutel, the largest exhibition in the region, has been bringing together leading players of the communications market.
