The E-government Training and Education Centre with the support of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies held a meeting with the students of Azerbaijan Technical University and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction wishing to build a career in the field of information technologies.
During the meeting, the students were provided with extensive information about the IT sector and the opportunities to build a career in this field.
After IT experts had made presentations on the topic of “Development of IT career”, the organizers of the meeting answered students’ questions.
The participants of the event were also informed about the opportunities offered by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies to the students wishing to engage in innovative entrepreneurship in the IT sector.
Towards the end of the meeting, the participants were given information about the projects implemented by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, in particular about the E-government portal.
Similar meetings are expected to be held next year in other local universities.
