The next Republican Olympiad on Informatics among the students of higher education institutions will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Education and the Institute of Information Technologies of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
Traditionally, the Olympiad, which is held annually in two stages, will be dedicated to May 17 - World Telecommunication and Information Society Day.
This will be the 12th Republican Olympiad on Informatics among the students of higher education institutions.
No more than 4 teams from each higher education institution can register for the Olympiad, and only 1 team from each institution that has shown the highest results will be admitted to the final stage of the Olympiad. Each team will consist of 1 leader (teacher) and 3 participants (bachelor students).
This year the first stage of the Olympiad will be held on April 29, and the next (final) stage - on May 6.
To participate in the Olympiad, it is necessary to register at www.olimpiada.az before April 21, 2017.
The first stage will start at 10:00 in Baku Engineering University.
The members of the teams that will participate in the Olympiad will have to produce ID cards and student identity cards.
