Quarterly reports on obligatory state social insurance have increased demand for e-signature cards

After the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population (MLSPP) digitalized and integrated into the E-government portal its service called “Submission of reports on obligatory state social insurance”, demand for e-signatures has increased.

Thus, the State Social Protection Fund under MLSPP accepts reports from large and small business owners only in electronic form.

To use this e-service, the business owner must have an e-signature card, which is valid as a seal, or a seal from authorized person.

Business owners can easily obtain an e-signature by ordering it online. Also, the head of an enterprise who has an e-signature card, which is valid as a seal, can authorize any of his employees who have an e-signature to use the “Submission of reports on obligatory state social insurance” electronic service.

Note that an electronic signature can be ordered online from the website “www.e-imza.az”.

To do this, the user should access the website “www.e-imza.az”, and choose “For legal entities and psychical persons engaged in business activities” section from the “Online appeal” menu.

Then, after filling out the electronic application form and paying the fee online, he can order an electronic signature.

While ordering an e-signature, the user can choose one of the two e-signature carriers (smart-card or USB-token) that are provided by the National Certification Services Center.

Smart-tokens are a new kind of electronic signature certificate carriers. They can be used without card readers.  During the initial use, the software automatically downloads from the USB token to the user’s device and installs itself there.

Upon receiving the order, the Centre starts preparing an electronic signature certificate and informs the user about that via e-mail or by phone.

After receiving this notification, the user can get the electronic signature certificate from the Registration Center of the Data Processing Centre of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.

Note that an electronic signature certificate can be also ordered at the “Shabaka” service center located at the address: Uzeyir Hajibeyov 36.
