Thus, more than 3 thousand electronic signature certificates were issued by the National Certification Services Centre of the Data Processing Centre during the last month.
According to statistical data, 3,486 electronic signature certificates were issued in April 2017. 766 of them were issued to state organizations, 2,612 – to legal entities and 108 – to physical persons.
During the period starting from the launch of electronic signature certificates in the country until 1 May 2017, 68,218 electronic signature certificates were issued to state organizations, 17,480 – to physical persons and 20,170 – to legal entities.
To date, a total of 105,868 electronic signature certificates have been issued by the National Certification Services Centre.
According to statistical information, a total of 5,652 electronic signature certificates were issued during the first 4 months of 2017. 2,236 of them were issued to state organizations, 270 – to physical persons and 3,146 – to legal entities.
The number of transactions made with the use of electronic signature also continues growing.
Thus, to date, a total of 21,497,657 authentication and electronic signature-related operations have been carried out in the country. 17,368,331 of them were carried out by state organizations and 4,129,326 – by legal entities and physical persons.
According to statistical data, during the first 4 months of 2017, 3,644,864 authentication and electronic signature-related operations were carried out in the country, which makes about 17% of the total number of operations. 2,571,937 of them were carried out by state organizations and 1,072,927 – by legal entities and physical persons.
Note that electronic signature is one of the means of identifying a user in the virtual environment. Being a code unit, it performs all the functions of a signature in the electronic system, such as encoding of the sent data and identification of the sender.
So electronic signature ensures the safety and flexibility of the process of exchanging electronic documents in the virtual space. In a word, having become part of everyday life, the electronic signature has become a guarantor of convenience and security.
