16 teams of 16 higher educational institutions across the country took part in the final stage of the Olympiad.
In total, 52 teams from 24 universities were registered to participate in the Olympiad.
Thus, team BEU Programmers of Baku Engineering University took the first place, team CtrlZ of Baku State University - 2nd place, team ADA U1 of ADA University - 3rd place, and team BHOS2 of Baku Higher Oil School - 4 th place.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to increase the level of knowledge of students of higher educational institutions in the field of informatics, programming, the growing interest in this field, as well as to attract the students who have become winners in this field to the international Olympiads.
Note that winners will be awarded valuable prizes by sponsors, as well as honorary certificates and diplomas by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies at an event dedicated to the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day.
Winners of Republican Olympiad in informatics among university students determined
The final stage of the Republican Olympiad in informatics among university students was held. The Olympiad is co-organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT), Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Education and Institute of Information Technologies of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS).16 teams of 16 higher educational institutions across the country took part in the final stage of the Olympiad.
