"According to the "Geneva-06" plan, up to 85 percent of the Azerbaijani population are planned to be covered by digital broadcast standard MPEG-4 by late 2011," he said. "The country has planned to move to digital broadcasting in 2013."

Azerbaijan's revenues from telecommunication services are expected to hit $ 1.5 million in 2011, Head of the State Radio Frequencies Administration under the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry Aflatun Mammadov said at the seventh meeting of the working group on Tuesday.The meeting began in Baku today and will continue until October 14.
