The projects will be implemented by the Electronic Government Training and Education Center at the training centers located in Baku and regions of the country.
Under the projects, the IT skills of around 1,000 persons will be increased. The training participants will be taught to use the most important computer programs and e-government solutions.
The participants will gain new knowledge and will expand their career opportunities.
The project is financed by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It is supported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.
Microsoft Azerbaijan provides the project participants with educational content and the right of free-of-charge participation in international certification exams.
The initial trainings started on September 6. These trainings are being held at the regional training centers located in Ganja, Mingachevir, Lankaran, Shirvan, Shamakhi and Sheki.
Anyone, regardless of his age and specialty, can participate in the trainings.
The trainings, organized in the form of 6-day courses, are being conducted by world-class certified trainers.
Upon successful completion of the trainings, the participants will receive certificates of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.
The Electronic Government Training and Education Center was created with the aim of raising the IT and computer knowledge of population. With the use of innovative technologies, the Centre renders its services to the population in 16 regions of the country.
Those who wish to participate in the projects should apply to the nearest "Shabaka" service center.

MTCHT launches “ICT for Everyone” social project
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) has launched a new social project called "ICT for Everyone".
