The participants of the conference, which was organized by the Oxford Internet Institute with the financial support of the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council, discussed the impact of the digital economy on the development of developing countries.
They also discussed the work done towards the development of the digital economy in Azerbaijan.
Acting Director of the E-Government Training and Education Center Rauf Jabbarov made a presentation at the conference as a member of the International Research Group. The presentation was dedicated to the development of the country's startup ecosystem and the impact of public-private organizations’ partnership on this development.
During discussions held at the conference, it was noted that Azerbaijan was ahead of a number of developing countries in terms of development of the digital economy.
Professors of famous international universities, digital economics experts from international organizations and leading specialists in digital economics from developing countries took part in the conference.
