The project is intended for low-income segments of the population – members of martyr families, refugees, IDPs and people with disabilities.
The first training was organized in the E-Government Educational Center in Baku on October 25. Along with Baku city, the training and educational centers of Lankaran, Imishli, Barda, Mingachevir, Goychay, Shamakhi and Gabala regions joined the training via online communication.
During the training, information was provided on the goal of the project and was noted that certain steps have been taken in Azerbaijan towards use of information and communication technologies (ICT). Significant progress has been made in the application of these technologies in various sectors. In general, this direction has become one of the priorities of state policy. One of the goals defined in the "National Strategy on Information and Communication Technologies for the Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan" is to raise public awareness on these technologies to facilitate the application of ICT as a whole.
At the end of the project, the attendees will receive certificates of the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, taking into account the level of knowledge they gained.
Trainings “ICT for all” start
Free-of-charge trainings for the use of office programs at professional level has been launched as part of the social project "ICT for All". The trainings are co-organized by the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the E-Government Education and Training Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
