The contest will encourage a wide audience of young people to familiarize themselves with the Electronic Government Portal (www.e-gov.az) and to use a broader range of electronic government solutions.
The winners in the nominations “The best legal entity in promoting the Electronic Government” and “The best organization in promoting the use of electronic government solutions among young people in the regions” will get an opportunity to use free internet service for 6 months.
The winners in the nominations “The best physical person in promoting the Electronic Government” and “The best proposal for digitalizing government services and developing the Electronic Government Portal” will receive a cash prize in the amount of 500 AZN.
The winners of the contest will be also presented with other prizes, certificates and symbolic awards.

The contest is supported by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a number of leading youth organizations.
The contest is organized by the Electronic Government Training and Education Centre and the Data Processing Centre.
The winners of the contest will be announced at the “Electronic Government for Youth” conference on December 26.
