The idea of creating artificial intelligence, reproducing the consciousness of a particular person and after his death, allowing to continue communication with the digital copy have previously appeared in the sci-Fi series «Black mirror» (Black Mirror).
«Initially we created a speech program that responds to questions from our customers about the funeral, – TASS quoted the Charlotte Runion, head of the Stockholm network, a funeral home Phoenix. – This prompted us to develop what we call «an electronic copy of a human» robot, who will speak in a voice like the voice of the deceased.»
«The copy» will be able to support simple everyday conversation. Thus the robot will not be able to answer a question about something completely new, like the just released movie because the program has not provided update data, said Runion.
To create the first prototypes, the developers are looking for 10 volunteers whose voices will be recorded and processed again to resound after their death.
