Samsung has created a humanoid robot

Samsung has completed the development of an industrial robot Saram with support of artificial intelligence.

Samsung Electronics is likely to come to market robots with support of artificial intelligence. First of all, the company needs to start with industrial robots and gradually expanded to the field of creating robots for home use. In particular, the company recently completed development of a technology for vertical circulation.
 
The name of the new humanoid robot Saram means “man” translated from Korean”. It is expected that the robot manipulator will be used primarily for lifting or moving heavy objects in factories of the company.
 
Project Saram experts call a kind of beginning of a new direction of activity of the company, which in recent years seriously interested in the field of robotics with artificial intelligence.
 
However, the company stated that it is premature to commercialize these device. “It is too early to talk about commercialization,” said a Samsung spokesperson. However, it is assumed that robots in the future Samsung will be useful for surgery.
