ITU Secretary-General gets acquainted with Azerbaijan’s achievements in ICT field

The international exhibition and conference ITU Telecom World, held by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Durban, South Africa, is completing its work today.
As previously reported, Azerbaijan is represented at the international exhibition and conference by an official delegation.
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a partner of the exhibition. Our country is represented at the exhibition by the National Pavilion.
Visitors showed great interest in our National Pavilion, where achievements, innovative services, applications and solutions in the ICT sector were demonstrated.
During his visit to the exhibition, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao visited our National Pavilion and was interested in the services and projects presented there.
Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade gave detailed information on the projects implemented in our country in the field of ICT.
The solutions presented by Azerbaijani startuppers attracted the attention of the Secretary-General.
