Company CustomAR, which was awarded a grant from the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, and a resident of the ministry’s High Tech Park startup project IQREX presented their innovations in the national pavilion of the country and obtained positive results.
Thus, Jalal Rahimov’s project IQREX was announced winner of the Global Innovation Award for Small and Medium Enterprises (Global SME Award) among the participating countries.
Innovative projects from Japan, South Africa, South Korea, China, Kenya, Nigeria, Mozambique and other countries took part in the competition.
The goal of the competition is to encourage entrepreneurs presenting innovations to improve people's lives.
The winners were determined by a jury composed of social and technical experts.
The projects submitted for the competition covered a wide range of areas: broadband optical cable, digital farming, mobile training, education, healthcare, virtual and augmented reality technologies, online ticket sales, online payment, informal savings platforms and employment.
It should be noted that the winner project IQREX distinguishes the original products from the fake ones through QR code.
