The event will take place on September 21, 2018 from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
Residents of surrounding regions will also be able to take part in the tour.
Those who wish to participate in the event must register on the website: http://www.i2b.az.
Within the startup tour, informative sessions, interactive sections, competitions and trainings on various topics will be held.
During the first part of the event, small business trainings will be held to prepare startups for the main competition. During the second part of the tour, the participants will present their ideas to the jury.
Then the selected projects will compete for the first place.
After each presentation, the authors will answer questions and the project will be discussed.
At the end of the second part, the jury will announce the winners of the 1st and 2nd places for the Sumgait startup tour.
The winners will be eligible to participate in the National Finals in Baku.
Startup tours are held jointly by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Public Association "Regional Development" of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, United Nations Development Program and the company Microsoft with the view of providing support to the expansion of the startup movement and the implementation of new innovative ideas of citizens.
The company Azercell is a partner of the project.
The authors of the winning projects will get the opportunity to use mentoring services, attract investments, participate in trainings abroad and take part in international events.
Next startup tour to be held in Sumgait
The next startup tour will be held in Sumgait within the project "From Idea to Business".The event will take place on September 21, 2018 from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
