The seminar was organized by the MTCHT’s Information and Communication Technologies Applying and Training Center.
The purpose of the event was to study the experience of the European Union in increasing the level of information technologies readiness of civil servants and the efficient use of information technologies in public administration.
Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizadeh, Head of Department of Innovative Development of Information Society and Electronic Governance of the MTCHT Rashad Azizov and Director of ICT Application and Training Centre Rauf Jabarov delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. They informed the gathering about the work carried out in the field of digitization of civil servants in our country.
Then, leading IT experts from Germany, Portugal, Italy and Lithuania shared their countries’ experience.
The experts made presentations on topics such as “International standards and training programs on high-level IT knowledge for civil servants”, “Experience of European Union countries in the development of digital skills for civil servants”, “Role of IT trainings in the process of digitalization”, “Information security and confidentiality of personal information” and “E-leadership skills for supervisors”.
The event was followed by interesting discussions between participants and foreign experts.
Workshop on ‘Skills and digital readiness of civil servants in information technologies’ held
At the initiative of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT), a workshop on “Skills and digital readiness of civil servants in information technologies” was held on October 15-16 using the EU TAIEX tool.The seminar was organized by the MTCHT’s Information and Communication Technologies Applying and Training Center.
