According to AZERTAC, this statement was made on December 4 by Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Iran Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi.
He said that he was on his way to Baku to attend BakuTel 2018 - the International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition at the invitation of Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan.
During his interview with journalists at the airport, the Minister noted that Iran will demonstrate at the exhibition its achievements in the field of information technologies and its products.
"As part of the visit, I will meet with my Azerbaijani counterpart to discuss the prospects for cooperation in the field of information technologies. Today, the development of high technologies has led to the emergence of cybercrime as well. We need to fight together to prevent such negative situations," he added.
