The company earlier announced it was ready to offer this service and that it was waiting for the license to be issued. Azercell is an official partner of the 57th Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Baku in May 2012.
“It is very important for us launch 3G until the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku. We will offer best services to all guests of Baku who will use our network,” Kivisaari noted.
