Azerbaijani IT company develops 3D model
Azerbaijani IT-company IDRAK Technology Transfer operates to create three-dimensional model of Baku, Vice President Ayaz Jafarov told. Jafarov said that 3D-models of some capital facilities and areas have been already created.
The state support is required to create a three-dimensional virtual model of Baku, as the company is not able to realize such a large-scale project. It will take several years to create a three-dimensional virtual model of the capital. It will be necessary to create the necessary conditions, to attract human resources, specialists, to purchase equipment, etc.
"At present, some work in this direction has already been done," he said. "We have created a three-dimensional model of the territory near the Heydar Aliyev Palace, the Bulbul house-museum, a part of the National Sea Park in Baku and the Shah Abbas mosque in Ganja. The work is very laborious. It requires time and resources."
