This project that is supposed to be completed till 2013 consists of the following 4 components: provision of more effective and efficient customer services in the registration of property rights through the improvement of the physical condition of the registration office premises and installation of automated systems and on-line services; improvement in the management of state property; provision of the basic geodetic, mapping and cadastral data for the automated property registration and state property management systems; support of project implementation, monitoring and coordination of joint training activities, development of the information technology and information management strategy, policy and legislation. Works implemented in these directions have already delivered tangible results.
Thus, the electronic services rendered by the State Real Estate Property Service (SREPS) revived the sphere of state registration of real estate rights. According to information provided to «İCTnews» by the State Real Estate Property Service, registration of real estate in Azerbaijan has increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period of last year.
Another tendency observed in this period was swift spread of real estate registration in regions. Around 134,000 items of real estate were registered during 11 months of last year, which is 55.3% more than in the corresponding period of last year.
Out of the total amount of the registered estate 36.1% was registered for the first time, and 63.9% - repeatedly. In comparison with the last year the first registration of real estate has increased by 83.2%, and the repeated registration – by 43%.
As it was noted in the SREPS’s information, the registration of real estate in Baku and regions has increased by 3.68 % and 68.9% respectively compared to the same period of last year. Besides, since the beginning of the privatization, 466,806 flats were privatized in Azerbaijan by December 1, 2001.
