At the meeting the chairman of the committee, Garib Mamadov, told that during the reporting year Baku Cartographic Factory of the State Committee on Land and Cartography of Azerbaijan Republic drew up and printed the Complex Atlas of Azerbaijan Republic, 1:10,000 scale Tourist Atlas of Baku city, Ecological Atlas of Azerbaijan Republic (in Azerbaijani and English languages), maps for the National Encyclopedia, 1:100,000 scale geographical maps of Zardab, Bilesuvar, Agchabadi, Beylagan, Astara, Lenkaran, Masalli and Chalilabad regions and 675 topographic maps of different scales.
Also, satellite and aerial photography works were accomplished for to preparation of 1:1,000 scale orthophotographic maps and 1:5,000 scale maps, and 37 receiving stations for the satellite network were build.
Digital cadastral maps for 23 regions to be prepared with use of tachometer and CPS tools
Planning activities on preparation of digital cadastral maps for 137 territorial entities of 23 regions were carried out in 2011. The cadastral maps are to be prepared with use of tachometer and CPS tools.
