Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies holds meeting with Austrian delegation

There are big opportunities for the development of bilateral cooperation and realization of joint projects

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies has held a meeting with the Austrian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology of Austria Andreas Reinhardt.

During the meeting Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Elmir Valizade provided the guests with information on activities implemented in the Information Communication Technologies sector of Azerbaijan thanks to the Head of State’s care. Andreas Reinhardt noted that relations between the two countries are strengthening against the background  of the dynamic development of the ICT sector.  

While speaking about the importance of strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Austria in the sphere of information technologies, he stressed that it is necessary to create favorable conditions for the implementation of  joint projects.

  At the meeting both sides exchanged their views on a number of issues. Let’s note that representatives from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani public bodies and IT companies  took part in the activity.  The Austrian side was represented by employees of  the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology and telecommunication companies.
