In future, a new system will be created, which will allow people to do shopping and pay bus and metro fares by using the single payment card.
New payment system introduced in Baku Underground Railroad
A novelty has been introduced in the Baku Underground Railroad. The new system installed in pay-gates in metro stations allows citizens to pay railway fares without using metro cards. Thanks to this new system citizens can now take the metro by using any bank cards, excepting wage cards. In his interview to ICTnews the chief engineer of the Travel Service of the Baku Underground Railroad Etibar Isayev said that a new non-cash payment system had been introduced in the Underground Railroad. In order to use the new system, citizens must approach the automatic check point and touch with their bank cards to a special devise installed on it.The new system is being currently introduced in all stations of the Baku Underground Railroad.
