117 students provided with iPads in Azerbaijan

An activity dedicated to the first day of the academic year have been held at the Baku High Oil School. According to information provided by ICTnews, the activity was attended by the president of the State Oil Company Rovnag Abdullayev, the rector of the Baku High Oil School Elmar Gasimov and the rector of the  Heriot-Vatt University of the Great Britain professor Steve Chapman, who congratulated students with the beginning of the academic year and gave a high assessment to the activities implemented towards the establishment of new universities and colleges in the country.

As part of the activity, each of 117 students admitted to the Baku High Oil School were given a computer tablet (iPad). Rza Rahimov, who scored 690 points in the entrance examinations, delivered a speech on behalf of the students and their parents. In his speech R.Rahimov thanked the leadership of the country for the care and attention they give to the development of the education system.
