According to information posted on “cybersecurity.ru” website, “WiGig” technology works within 60 QHs frequency range and allows to transmit data over 10 m distance at 7 Gbit/sec speed. As a comparison, modern “801.11g” router transmits data at 50 Mbit/sec speed. According to IEEE Standards Association, the first batch of “WiGig” units will be released in the second half of 2013.
