Samsung introduced a new generation SUHD -TV having quantum dots display with frameless curved design at the Clinical Immunology Society 2016 exhibition in Lisbon.
New Samsung SUHD-TVs equipped with the world’s only frameless curved 10-digit display with quantum dots, which provides the most approximate to the natural image quality with high brightness, contrast and realistic colors. Model 2016 provides optimal image quality, regardless of lighting. Television can provide high dynamic range (HDR) with at least 1000 nits to increase the contrast between light and dark images, and the new Ultra Black technology reduces shine and reflection to enhance the picture quality.
Model KS9500 SUHDTV became the world’s first TV with a curved screen without frames around. This allows viewers to immerse themselves in what is happening on the screen. In addition, Samsung unveiled the first seamless back panel, removing all unnecessary items.
The new TVs are working on the basis of Tizen operating system and provide users with simplified access to content and services through Smart Hub 2016. Immediately after the user gets access to online TV, OTT (over the top – sources of content in addition to TV) and games, the new Samsung Smart TV will automatically determine the type of router, game console, OTT devices or home theater connected to the TV. With the Samsung Smart Control function, users can control all devices without additional configuration directly from the TV screen.
Also, users without the console will be able to play more than 500 online and downloadable games for Samsung Smart TV TVs, including Assassin’s Creed III, Batman: Arkham Origins, LEGO Movie and others.
Pressing the EXTRA button on the Samsung Smart Control remote control, the user instantly receives information about browsing on the content display. An updated Smart View application allows the user to share his favorite content with friends and family. UHD-technology developed by Neu Lion, allows the user to include sports programs through UHD live. The users can also connect the new Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player Samsung with an HDMI connector (2.0a) for access to UHD-movie with HDR.
