US scientists developed a technology that enables to greatly reduce Wi-Fi power consumption. The new technology will help to reduce manifold energy consumption as compared to Bluetooth and other common Wi-Fi devices by splitting analogue and digital parts and using only one analogue transmitter.
The range of passive radiation inside the building is about thirty meters. The signal can take standard Wi-Fi without increasing the power of the router. The new technology can be used in various areas, ITube reports.
