HP has decided not to lag behind competitors and announced its version of the Mac mini. New workstation in a form factor compact candybar called HP Z2 Mini. The application HP device twice “more powerful than any commercial mini PC on the market today and supports up to six screens.”
Height-cosmipolitan — 5.8 cm, which is below any other product from the line of HP Z Workstation. For comparison, the height of the Mac mini does not exceed 3.6 cm. through a specially designed system of fans and cooling Z2 Mini is nearly silent — 63% quieter mini-computer HP business class.
Z2 Mini “lets you design anything from the most modern electronics to homes and office buildings”, said HP. The model is aimed at designers, professionals in the field of 3D simulation, users of DesignCAD 3D Max, ArchiCAD and other CAD systems.
Despite compact housing dimensions and low weight, the laptop computer boasts a computational power. Z2 Mini server with Intel Xeon E5 processors, professional graphics cards Nvidia, up to 32 GB of RAM and SSD HP Z Turbo Drive with a capacity up to 1.5 TB.
The basic model has three displayports, two USB 3.0 ports and Ethernet. The top model will additionally receive USB-C.
