The next round of the Azerbaijan Women’s Volleyball Super League was held on December 6.
The “Telecom” team won the “Azerreyl” team during the first set of the match that took place at the “Olympus” sports complex by a score of 25 to 19. Yet, “Azerreyl” was able to break the game in the second set and gained a lead with a score of 25 to 15. The third set was held in equal fight, but in the end “Azerreyl” beat “Telecom” by a score of 25 to 23.
After suffering defeat in the two sets, “Telecom” did not lose heart and managed to win the fourth set with a score of 25 to 23. The fifth set was held in a tense struggle and ended with a score of 16 to 14 in favour of “Telecom”.
Thus, “Telecom” won the match with an overall score of 3 to 2. The following members of the “Telekom” team displayed best results in this game: O. Hasanova (18 points), Y.Vesovich (16 points), E.Samedova (15 points), M.Azizova (15 points).
In another match of the round, the “Azeryol” team won the “Locomotive” team with a score of 3 to 0 (25: 8; 25: 9, 25:11).
