The well-known EuroNews TV Channel presented a detailed video report on the 22nd Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference on Telecommunications and Information Technologies “BakuTel 2016”.
It is noted in the report that for over 20 years, the exhibition “BakuTel”, which is the largest ICT event in the region, has been bringing together the leading participants of the telecommunications sphere every year.
The exhibition “BakuTel” has become the main business platform for demonstrating IT products and services, establishing strong cooperation and creating new businesses.
The video report, which covers technological innovations presented at the exhibition, contains an excerpt from the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s interview to EuroNews TV Channel. As it was previously reported, the President Ilham Aliyev visited the “BakuTel 2016” exhibition on 30 November.
“In the coming years, economy will grow not because of oil and gas and not because oil and gas prices went down, but because other sectors of economy are growing; industry, tourism, services, agriculture and, of course, the ICT sector. And today’s exhibition, which is traditional Bakutel, once again shows that Azerbaijan in the region is one of the leading countries with respect to the ICT development,” said the Head of State.
