Tanvas also showed an application with different objects and materials: water, pebbles, sand and others. Each of them feels really resemble a real, though a finger simply touches a flat touch screen. The secret lies in the fact that TanvasTouch technology uses electromagnetic pulses to transmit tactile sensations in the fingertip.
This idea is not new, and previously we have seen similar projects. Tanvas team investigates this technology for over 10 years. In CES, it hopes to attract partners who would like to use these screens in their products
