Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S3 Tablet Leaks With A Curved Display

A new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 render has just surfaced, or at least it seems that way. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see three images, the first image shows off the Galaxy Tab S2 from behind, the second one is showing Galaxy Tab S3’s recent FCC sketch next to the Galaxy Tab S2, also from the back side, and the third image is the allegedly upcoming Galaxy Tab S3, read on.

As you can see, this tablet features a curved display on its left and right sides, which is certainly a surprise, as very few people expected the Galaxy Tab S3 to come with a curved display. This goes in line with the Galaxy S7 Edge, and both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are rumored to sport a curved display. These curves on the sides of the Galaxy Tab S3 don’t seem to be as pronounced as the ones on the Galaxy S7 Edge, and that makes sense, because it would be hard to use this tablet otherwise. This could indicate that Samsung might not release a flat display variant of the Galaxy Tab S3, though nothing has been confirmed just yet.

Now, looking at this tablet, you’ll notice it has four physical buttons, and the home key below the display is nowhere to be found. The tablet’s volume keys are placed on the left-hand side of this tablet, while the power key is located on the right. You’ll also notice that there’s another key on the right-hand side of this tablet, and this could be the rumored Bixby button which could be used to activate Samsung’s AI assistant, Bixby. As you can see, the back side of the tablet is also pictured in the third image down below, though its physical keys seem to be utilized in different places for some reason, and that is quite confusing, while the source does not elaborate on this at all.

If the provided info is to be believed, the Galaxy Tab S3 will sport a 9.6-inch 2048 x 1536 AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 128GB of native storage. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor, and Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the device with Samsung’s custom UI. A 12-megapixel camera will be placed on the back of this tablet, and a 5-megapixel shooter will be available on the tablet’s front side. Chances are Samsung plans to release both Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE variants of this tablet. It is quite possible that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be announced during this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona which kicks off at the end of this month.
