According to representatives of Intel, the launch of the fifth generation networks need to change the daily lives of many users. First and foremost, members of the Alliance 5GI2 will focus on the industrial application of Internet of things. Also it is planned to significantly expand the scope of research and to develop projects of self-driving vehicles, innovation in health and urban infrastructure.
Intel and Ericsson have formed an alliance for the development of 5G-tech
The engineers at Intel have long been working on projects related to 5G networks. However, recently it became known that one of the largest producers of processors is launching a new initiative. Together with Ericsson, Honeywell, General Electric and the University of California Berkeley, Intel will explore, test, and implement projects related to the networks of the fifth generation. A new initiative called 5G Innovators Initiative (5GI2).According to representatives of Intel, the launch of the fifth generation networks need to change the daily lives of many users.
