Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population implements e-document management system

Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan has announced the completion of the work on the introduction of electronic document management system in its central office.

The system was introduced in the Ministry’s functional services - the State Labor Inspection Service, State Employment Service and State Social Welfare services.

Training was held for administrators in connection with the launch of the system. In the next stage of the project the system will be expanded to cover all regional offices of the Ministry.

The work was carried out within the framework of the project “Pension and Social Assistance”, implemented by the Government of Azerbaijan and World Bank. The implementation of the system was carried out by Russian system integrator “KORUS Consulting”.

As a result of the introduction of EMC Documentum, incoming and outgoing documents, internal correspondence, work with orders, issuance of orders were automated, electronic document exchange between departments was established.

Furthermore, complaints from citizens are recorded in the system; consideration and execution of their appeals are controlled and processed. During the implementation of the project EMC Document interface was localized in Azerbaijani language.
