Experts from DxOMark have published the latest results of testing smartphone cameras.
The first place in the list was taken by Google Pixel 2. According to experts, this gadget has the most perfect camera for mobile devices. Pixel 2 scored a record 98 points.
To analyze smartphone cameras, DxOMark engineers evaluated more than 1500 test images and more than two hours of video recordings. The study was conducted under laboratory conditions.
Google Pixel 2’s main camera has a resolution of 12 megapixels and aperture of f/1.8. In terms of the total number of points scored, Pixel 2 beat the flagships from Apple and Samsung.
iPhone X and Huawei Mate 10 Pro took the second place in the rating with a score of 97 points.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 took the third place scoring 94 points each.
The Top 10 also includes iPhone 8 (92 points), Google Pixel, HTC U11 and Xiaomi Mi Note 3 (90 points each), iPhone 7 Plus (88 points), iPhone 7 (85 points), Sony Xperia XZ Premium (83 points), Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (82 points) and iPhone 6 (73 points), according to Rambler.
