Russian scientists have developed and tested a quantum phone

A group of scientists from physics Department of Moscow state University. M. V. Lomonosov, created and tested a quantum telephone, exchange of information through which it is impossible to "listen". According to a press release from MSU, the quantum phone consists of server located in the center of the "stars" and customers located in its "rays". The traffic between clients is encrypted directly, bypassing the server that is only used for quantum key distribution. In the future, such "quantum phones" is expected to equip other units of the University.
 
Using the principles of quantum physics to create completely secure from eavesdropping the communication channel is of interest to specialists from many countries for a long time. In September this year, the satellite quantum communication Mo Tzu was first applied by experts from China and Austria to conduct the session is a secure session conferencing via quantum teleportation. The researchers expressed hope that in the future their findings will apply to be perfected technology EN masse and even to create with it a kind of "quantum Internet."
