During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the development of high technologies in our country and application of information and communication technologies in transport operations carried out in Azerbaijan, as well as strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the fields of automobile transport, maritime transport and civil aviation.
It was noted that at present, the relations between Azerbaijan and Romania continue developing in various fields, including transport and ICT.
Minister Ramin Guluzade stressed that Romania’s joining the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Project and Azerbaijan’s signing of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Fields of Transit Trade and Transport between Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey will make a significant contribution to the further expansion of relations in these fields.
Deputy Prime Minister of Romania Ana Birchall, in her turn, noted that joint cooperation will serve to strengthen mutual interest-based relations.
