The High-Tech Park (HTP) of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) has entered into cooperation with the Barama Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Azercell Telecom LLC. A memorandum was signed today between the two entities.
Under the document, the HTP and Azercell will share experiences in the scientific, technical and educational fields, organize professional development trainings for employees, and develop joint projects in the scientific and technical innovation field.
Motivation of young specialists and training of startupers is also one of the main areas of cooperation.
Additionally, the memorandum provides for the expansion of integration of individuals and institutions in accordance with the highest international standards for education in the high-tech sector; exploration of possibilities for creating laboratories and joint use of existing laboratories and workforce; provision of students with necessary resources and opportunities, such as internet access, within joint programs.
Note that the Barama Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center was founded in 2009 with the aim of supporting business innovation in Azerbaijan. The Center helps projects and nascent startup-companies to organize their business in the field of innovation technologies.
