Discussions on the topic of "Electromagnetic wars" were held at the State Administration of Radio Frequencies (SARF) of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT).
The discussions touched upon such relating issues as the abuse of radio resources, electromagnetic wars, cyberattacks on wireless networks, etc.
At the event, Rashad Aliyev, a researcher at KAIST University (South Korea), made a presentation on "Characteristics and dangers of electromagnetic attacks".
Note that the scope of services of the State Administration of Radio Frequencies includes:
- Management of radio spectrum in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan
- Broadcast security
- Radio monitoring
- Inspection and electromagnetic compatibility control
- Registration of radiofrequencies and radio-electronic means
