The session had been given such a title, because our compatriots who were working abroad in world-renowned IT companies participated in it as speakers. The purpose of the session was to convey to the audience the experience of large international IT companies and to acquaint it with industry novelties and know-how.
The following presentations were made at the session by the following speakers:
- “Comprehensive training on computer image recognition” - Zaur Fataliyev, Chief Engineer at LG Electronics (Korea);
- “Modern full-stack software development” - Elchin Asgarli, Software Engineer at Google (US);
- “Social robots and design trends in social robotics, as well as the possible consequences of their introduction into the global market” - Maral Gurbanzade, Researcher at the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (Netherlands);
- “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of health and science: known and unknown facts; Limits and potential coverage of artificial intelligence” - Tagi Aliyev, graduate student at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research);
The session concluded with a presentation made by Rustam Hashimov, Senior Software Engineer at Facebook (US), on the topic of “Systems of personalized recommendations in online platforms: an example of software development for the modern era and its implications.”
Bakutel Tech Talks will continue with panel discussions that will be held under the slogan “IT your vision.” The main idea is IT technologies and solutions that are in demand in such industry sectors as TV and radio broadcasting, transport, education, tourism. The panelists will raise the topic of digital solutions that are relevant for them. The purpose of the event is to establish a dialogue between consumers and suppliers of digital innovations. And the first topic will touch on the vectors of the development of broadcasting technologies.
The session will be moderated by Tural Yusifov, the author of the project “Autostop”. Advisor to the General Director of ITV Ismail Aliyev, Head of New Projects Development Department of KATV1 Ali Aliyev, and Deputy Technical Coordinator of Azad Azerbaijan TV Company Fikret Azimov will engage in the discussion.
Then the discussions will continue with the panel "IT-technologies in the field of transport", in which Head of Information Analysis and Information Technologies Department of the State Road Transport Service Ramin Bayramov and Executive Director of “Taxi 189” taxi service Samir Karimov will participate as speakers.
The next panel "IT-technologies in education" will be moderated by Jahid Ismailov. The main speakers at this panel will be Head of ICT Bureau for Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vusal Khanlarov, Dean of Information Technology and Engineering Department of ADA University Araz Yusubov, Co-Founder of Edutainment.az Tatyana Mikayilova, and Deputy Director of the Modern Educational Complex named after Heydar Aliyev Anar Mamedov.
The discussions will conclude with the panel “IT-technologies in tourism”, in which Deputy General Director of Pasha Travel Ildyrim Gambarov, Head of the Tourism Policy Department of the State Agency for Tourism Magomed Muradov, and Director of the Baku Tourist Information Center Rufat Bagirov will participate as speakers.
The Bakutel Tech Talks program will continue on December 6th with the session “From Startup to Business”, which will be attended by startupers and business youth. In this session, experienced speakers will try to convey to the audience their confidence that any idea can be realized.
The first eloquent presentation will be made by Tala Qatran, a business guru from Israel who is a well-known expert in building businesses and startups, a major investor, entrepreneur, founder and leader of several business accelerators and international innovation centers in Israel, a member of the advisory board and chairman of several startups. He has extensive experience in managing large Hi-Tech companies and startups at the seed stage in the broad sphere of different technologies.
Interesting presentations will be made at this session by Director of Sumaks Technologies Javid Mamedov, Founder of Technote Media and Hotbots Robotics Farid Pardashunas, and a young software developer from the company PictoFy, Magrur Rzayev. The main idea of all the presentations is to explain how the startup system works and how to build startups correctly - starting from idea to operating business. This session will be a godsend for those who want to learn how to find, test and implement ideas, how to make money off them, why it is important to share the idea, and how to prevent it from being stolen.
At the end of the program, everyone will be able to ask questions about the organization, financing and other issues of concern to all young developers. Thus, Bakutel Tech Talks will address the most pressing issues of the industry and become a fashionable platform for discussions with opinion leaders.
Bakutel Tech Talks 2018
As part of Bakutel 2018, the 24th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications, Innovations and High Technologies Exhibition and Conference, the Bakutel Tech Talks program started its work on December 5th at 14:00. The event began with a session titled “Bizimkilar” (“Ours”).
