The DxOMark website, testing camera, lens and camera for mobile phones summed up the results in 2018 and announced the list of the best smartphones of their version in terms of their photo capabilities.
The quality of photomodels embedded in smartphones over the past 12 months has increased significantly. In 2018, DxOMark exceeded 100 points for the first time. In just over a year, experts on the site tested 31 new smartphones, moreover, these were models not only of the premium segment, but also of budget and middle devices that often showed high quality for their class, for example, ASUS ZenFone 5. Ali despite the large number of new products on the ranking, the leader for most of the year was the Huawei P20 Pro. DxOMark tested it in late March, yet with a total score of 109 points, ranks first among the best camera phones.
Apple iPhone XS Max (105 points) was a bronze medallion, followed by the same result for 103 points, followed by three models – HTC U12 +, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. Google Pixel 3 introduced this autumn did not hit the strongest overall rating line, but it turned out to be the first in the quality of video recording.
