Creation of robotics laboratory with MTCHT’s support starts paying off

Hanzade Sahib Zulfiqar oghlu, who has gained experience at the "Robopark" robotics laboratory, will take part in the 8th "Scholars of Tomorrow" Republic Competition.  Note that the abovementioned laboratory was created at secondary school No. 23 last year with the organizational support of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT).     
 
Hanzade Sahibis ,who is a 9th grade student of secondary school No. 23, has submitted his project, named "Smart Glasses – Eyecare", to the competition.  The project had received a positive feedback from the Scientific Evaluation Commission before it was admitted to the competition.  
 
Note that clubs on informatics, programming and robotics were created at the "Robopark" robotics laboratory for secondary school students of the seventh and ninth grades. The students are taught in these clubs the secrets of programming in the field of building and operating robots.  
 
The purpose is to increase modern scientific and technical knowledge of secondary school students, raise their interest in high technologies, develop prototypes for robotics and create necessary conditions for their testing.    
 
The fact that the authors of projects who have gained necessary experience at Robopark have got approval from evaluation experts for presenting their ideas to the republic competition indicates that the creation of such a laboratory has started paying off.   
 
Note that the 8th "Scholars of Tomorrow" Republic Competition, co-organized by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the Heydar Aliyev Center, the Science Development Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republican Committee of Independent Trade Unions of Education Workers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will be held on February 12-14.
 
The purpose of the competition is to involve the IX-XI grade students of general education institutions in scientific research, stimulate their scientific and creative activities, identify talented secondary school students who take interest in scientific research work, as well as to select the students of local secondary schools who have achieved high results in the field of scientific research for participation in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) held in the US.
 
The competition covers such fields as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine and health, ecology, engineering, computer sciences.
