The event was organized by Azerbaijan Medical University at the initiative of the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies (SFDIT) under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT).
At the session, presentations were made on startups, innovations, innovative entrepreneurship, intellectual business, etc.
SFDIT representative spoke about the purpose of the informative session and the Fund’s support for startup projects.
Then, a presentation was made on the SFDIT’s activity and financial mechanisms, participation in grant competitions and the rules for granting preferential loans.
The participants of the session were also informed about the startup tours that were organized within the framework of the project "From Idea to Business" and covered Baku city and 7 regions of the country.
After that, a presentation was made on the "MedNot" startup, financed by the SFDIT, and the "Healthy lifestyle platform" startup, which is a resident of the High-Tech Park.
The project leaders shared with the participants their experience in turning an idea into business.
Also, interesting discussions were held around the students’ ideas in the field of medicine and healthcare services.

An informative session on the topic of "Turning Innovative Ideas into Business" was held on February 8, 2019 at Azerbaijan Medical University within the framework of the project "From Idea to Business".The event was organized by Azerbaijan Medical University at the initiative of the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies (SFDIT) under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT).
