The delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade, includes about 15 representatives of state bodies and private companies.
The forum is attended by representatives of the agencies subordinate to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (Aztelecom, Baktelecom, State Administration of Radio Frequencies, Data Processing Center, AzinTelecom, Azermarka, High Tech Park).
In total, representatives of 100 companies from 16 countries are attending the forum.
At the opening ceremony, the welcome message of President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was read out.
Then Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus Konstantin Shulgan spoke about the work done in his country’s ICT field.
The opening ceremony was also addressed by Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Konstantin Noskov, Executive Director of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications Nuriddin Mukhitdinov and head of the ITU Regional Office for the CIS countries Kirill Oparin.
A welcome message of Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade was also read out. “It has become a good tradition that we mutually introduce ourselves at our national industry exhibitions, participate in conferences held within their framework, and organize business forums. This is a real example of friendly relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Belarus, as well as a business partnership between the sectoral ministries of our countries,” the message says.
“The International Forum TIBO is an annual meeting place for representatives of international and state bodies, world and leading companies, high-profile and multi-skilled specialists. The exchange of information and best practices, the presentation of new technologies and concrete solutions, the establishment of business relations are the achievements of this event,” the message says.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan has been presented at the TIBO-2019 exhibition-forum by the national pavilion for the 7th time. The pavilion shows the achievements of our country in the field of ICT.
Within the VIP tour, officials visited the national pavilion of Azerbaijan, familiarized themselves with innovations of our country in ICT field.
The International Specialized Exhibition TIBO, which is considered one of the largest ICT events in the CIS and Baltic countries, will run until April 12.
