The cloud provider AZCLOUD of AzInTelecom LLC, which operates under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, has launched a new cloud service called "Backup as a Service" for its clients.
The service, which is being offered to AZCLOUD customers on favorable terms, makes it possible to quickly and easily backup data in the cloud.
Along with providing the sustainable backup of data and cloud infrastructure, the new service allows its users to quickly restore the lost data and to store safely important data in the cloud.
With the help of AZCLOUD’s Backup as a Service, users can easily handle all business processes going on in the cloud infrastructure from their personal account.
The new service was created on the basis of "Cloud Connect" technology of the company "Veeam", which specializes in virtual environment monitoring in the field of data backup.
Among the main advantages of this technology are its quick installation (within 10 minutes); 50-fold acceleration of the process in global networks (WAN, Wide Area Networks) through the use of the backup accelerator "WAN Acceleration"; possibility to backup data via the security protocol-protected connection SSL (SSL, Secure Sockets Layer), which ensures the security of connections between users’ computers and websites they visit.
Among the other advantages of Backup as a Service are the possibility for AZCLOUD users to automatically backup the virtual infrastructure in the cloud environment, possibility for them to monitor and quickly restore the virtual infrastructure using the single console, rendering professional 24/7 support service to users, its being triple as fast as the external cloud provider.
It should be noted that in the rapidly digitizing world, the amount of damage sustained by companies as a result of data loss is increasing each year. According to the "Digital and Risk" report, which was published in March 2018 by the company "McKinsey", one of world leaders in the field of information security, "$ 500 million are spent each year to ensure the information security of companies. Yet, companies sustain $ 400 billion damage as a result of data loss."
